How To Identify & Prepare ACA Corrections
You have filed your ACA XML with the IRS and you received a “Accepted with Errors” acknowledgment receipt. The IRS requires that you file a correction, but they made the process a little more complicated than simply updating your spreadsheet and re-submitting. The instructions below will walk you through the steps to filing a correction:
- Downloading your error summary report.
- Identifying your errors.
- Preparing the correction spreadsheet.
- Completing Form 1094-C.
- Uploading your correction to us.
