How to use this precision tracking test
Precision Tracking measures how consistently you can keep a mouse pointer or fingertip inside a moving target. Instead of rewarding one fast click, it emphasizes continuous control over the full timed run.
Pointer sensitivity, screen size, touch input, and device acceleration can all change the feel of the task. Keep those settings consistent when comparing your own tracking percentage over time.
How the score works
Higher on-target percentage is better. Advanced and Expert modes make the target smaller and move it more quickly, while also extending the session.
Questions about this challenge
What does precision tracking measure?
It records the percentage of the timed run during which your pointer remains inside the moving target.
Can I use touch instead of a mouse?
Yes on supported devices, but touch and mouse control feel different, so compare results using the same input method.
Why does target size change by difficulty?
A smaller target reduces the allowable movement error and makes continuous control more demanding.
