Personal performance challenge
Visual Memory Test
Try a free visual memory test with briefly highlighted grid tiles. Recall the pattern, advance through levels, and keep your best result locally.
Visual grid
What this challenge measures
A group of tiles briefly lights up, then disappears. Your goal is to select the same tiles. Each successful round adds another tile to remember.
Scores are recreational and can vary by device, browser, display, input hardware, and environment. They are not diagnostic assessments.
About your score
Higher is better. Your personal best and recent completed runs are stored only in this browser on this device.

How to use this visual memory test
The Visual Memory Test briefly highlights tiles in a grid, hides them, and asks you to select the same locations from memory. Correct rounds increase the challenge, so the task becomes progressively more demanding as the grid or target count grows.
Try to look at the overall pattern instead of memorizing tiles one by one. For consistent comparisons, keep the same screen size and orientation because a larger or smaller grid can change visual spacing and eye movement.
How the score works
Higher levels are better. Difficulty modes adjust grid size, the number of highlighted tiles, and how long the pattern remains visible before recall begins.
Questions about this challenge
What does the visual memory test ask me to remember?
You remember the locations of highlighted tiles after they disappear from the grid.
Why does screen size matter?
Grid spacing and visual angle change across devices, so the same challenge can feel different on a phone, tablet, or desktop monitor.
How can I compare sessions fairly?
Use the same difficulty and similar device setup, then compare your own level history rather than treating one run as a universal benchmark.
